Interested in joining a Convoy to the Bahamas

Every Fall we move our sailboats to the Bahamas. We are looking for captains and crew.

Crew requirements:
You need little experience to work as a member of a crew. Having said that experience is an asset. A good work ethic, enjoy working with others and following instructions is a must. You will receive instruction and have a hands on learning experience. The convoy leaves Lake Champlain mid October and will arrive in Nassau mid November. The trip takes one month, on average and has many stops alone the route. If a month is to long a time, we can offer crew, one and two week excursions. The crew is responsible for there travel arrangements, equipment and there share of the provisions.
The voyage begins on lake Champlain and down the Hudson river to New York. You will travel threw the many lock, on the Hudson. A couple of days at Catskill, to remast and visit this beautiful town. Then on to New York and a well deserved break, in this fantasic city. From New York you will sail for three days to Virginia Beach before entering the intercoastal passage. The intercoastal will wined you threw beautiful country side and quaint towns. Next stop is Beaufort NC., a sailing mecca. Continuing south alone the sunshine coast of Florida. Leaving, Fortworth Florida the vessel will cross the gulf stream to Bimini and the Bahamas. You will sail across the pristine waters of the Bahamas to Chub Cay and a short jump to Nassau.
